Hurricane Ike Victims

Thu Sep 25, 2008, 3:01 PM
In the wake of Hurricane Ike hundreds of pets have gone missing. As a result the clinics and shelters are inundated with animals that they cannot care for.

As of Saturday morning as many as 100 dogs will be euthanized if they are not adopted by tomorrow night. If you live in the Houston area and are able, please take one of these animals in. Many of them came from good homes and were simply lost in the hurricane.

If interested please contact the Montgomery County Animal Shelter at 936-442-7738
